10.Install the Cooling Air Kit (furnished)

The cooling air kit is supplied as a standard feature with this fireplace and is required for safe operation. Installation must be done at the time of initial construction. The cooling air inlet tubes must be a minimum of 72” above the base of the fireplace. This is to prevent potential blockage by snow or yard debris. See Figure 17.

To install the air kit collar, slide one of the tabs down into the seam. See Figure 18. Secure the collar tabs to the fireplace with screws placed into the holes provided. See Figure 19.

Repeat for the other side.

Note: The cooling air kit must terminate at least six feet above ground level.

11.Install the Chimney Air Kit

When installing the chimney air kit, follow the instructions provided with this accessory.
