TIPO DE GAS:

Su barbacoa de gas natural está construida de fabrica para operar solamente con gas natural. Nunca trate de operar la barbacoa con otros gases diferentes a los indicados en la placa de especificaciones de la misma.

Su barbacoa funciona a un presión de 4.5” de columna de agua. Si fuese necesario reemplazar la manguera, se requerirán partes especificadas por la fábrica. Consulte con su distribuidor local.

Por razones de seguridad y diseño, la conversión de una barbacoa Weber® que opera con gas natural a una que opere con gas propano licuado requiere cambiar la totalidad del sistema de suministro de gas de la misma. Si esto fuese necesario, consulte a su distribuidor para mayor información.

¿QUÉ ES EL GAS NATURAL?

El gas natural, a menudo denominado metano, es un combustible moderno seguro. El gas natural es suministrado por empresas de servicio público y debería tenerlo disponible si la calefacción de su casa funciona con gas.

INSTALACIÓN TRANSPORTABLE

Weber® recomienda mover la barbacoa por los menos a dos (2) pies (60 cm) del punto de suministro de gas o de cualquier superficie combustible. Después de haber tendido el suministro de gas y haberse verificado la ausencia de fugas de acuerdo con las instrucciones de ensamblaje, usted estará listo para empezar a asar. Para conectar

la manguera al suministro de gas, hale hacia atrás el adaptador externo, inserte el adaptador de la manguera totalmente hacia adentro, y suelte el adaptador externo. Este proceso producirá una junta de gas.

PREPARATIVOS PARA LA BÚSQUEDA DE FUGAS

VERIFIQUE QUE TODAS LAS VÁLVULAS DE LOS QUEMADORES ESTÉN CERRADAS

Las válvulas son despachadas de fábrica en la posición “OFF” (cerradas), pero usted debe verificarlo para asegurarse de que efectivamente estén cerradas. Verifíquelo presionándolas hacia abajo y girándolas hacia la derecha. Si no giran, están cerradas. Proceda al paso siguiente. Si sí girasen, continúe girándolas hacia la derecha hasta que paren; allí estarán cerradas. Proceda al paso siguiente.

Empuje el enchufe hasta que la manga salte hacia adelante inmovilizándolo en

el receptáculo.

Cuando está correctamente ensamblado, el enchufe no puede sacarse sin

empujar la manga hacia atrás.

Para desconectar, empuje la manga hacia atrás y hale el enchufe hacia afuera.

(Esto automáticamente cierra el gas.)

PRUEBA DE FUGAS DE GAS

ADVERTENCIA: Las conexiones de gas en su barbacoa de gas Summit® han sido probadas en la fábrica. Le recomendamos, sin embargo, que usted realice pruebas de fugas en todas las conexiones previo a poner a funcionar la barbacoa de gas Summit®.

RETIRE EL PANEL DE CONTROL:

Parte requerida: destornillador Phillips.
