Manual adjustable backrest (recline)

For depth or angle adjustment see ‘Fully Adjustable Backrest’ above. To recline the backrest angle simply pull the lever and lower the back to the required position. The angle can be set by inserting the locking pin into its locating position. Please ensure you support the weight of the user when raising or lowering the backrest (Fig. 25).

JAY backrest posts

To enable the fitting of a JAY backrest, which is available as an optional extra (Fig. 26). The JAY backrest posts do not offer any depth adjustment. This is available on the JAY back itself.
