USING/REPLACING FOOTREST STRAP
WARNING
Footrest straps MUST be inspected BEFORE each use. Exposure to moisture (ie.- wet weather or puddles) will damage fastening strips. Footrest strap will not hold feet securely in footrest if fas- tening strips are damaged. DO NOT operate excelerator if footrest straps are wet or damaged, otherwise severe injury may occur.
Always wear shoes and securely strap feet in using straps provided. Severe injury may oc- cur if feet are not secured while the Excelerator is in motion.
Using Footrest Strap (FIGURE 3)
1.Place feet in footrests.
2.Secure feet to footrest strap using small fastening straps.

Replacing Footrest Strap (FIGURE 4)
1.Pull apart fastening straps securing existing foot- rest strap to footrest.
2.Position the footrest strap around the inner foot- rest tube as shown in DETAIL "A".
NOTE: The small fastening straps should face UP.
3.Firmly connect the hook and loop portion of the footrest strap to secure the footrest strap to the inner footrest tube as shown in DETAIL "A".
4.Wrap end of footrest strap over and around the outer footrest tube and under the inner footrest tube as shown in DETAILS "A" and "B".
5.Press the end of the footrest strap against the portion of the footrest strap installed onto the in- ner footrest tube as shown in DETAIL "B".
6.Ensure the footrest strap is firmly attached to the loop fastening strip on the outer footrest tube.
