The user can simply press any key to wake up the unit. The handset automatically wakes up if it receives any special information from base.

Note: If the handset in sleep mode, the LEDs are not turned on.

1.6.6 KEY LOCK MODE STATUS

If you press and hold the Trans key for just over two seconds, the handset enters key lock/unlock mode.

When the handset is in the key unlock mode (normal mode) and you hold the Trans key for a few seconds, the unit enters the lock mode.

The LCD displays the following message for three seconds to indicate how to unlock the phone:

LONG KEY PRESS [TRANSFER]

TO UNLOCK

After three seconds, the LCD goes back to being locked and changes the LCD display to the following.
