Beyond the Basics

For the Handset

1.Press the MENU soft key.

2.Select the HANDSET SETUP menu, and then the PERSONAL RING submenu.

3.Move the cursor to select ON or OFF.

4.Press the OK soft key. You will hear a confirmation tone.

For the Base

1.Press MENU/SELECT.

2.Select the RINGS/VOLUMES menu, and then the PERSONAL RING submenu.

3.Move the cursor to select ON or OFF.

4.Press MENU/SELECT or the SELECT soft key. You will hear a confirmation tone.

Activating Auto Talk (Handset Only)

Auto Talk allows you to answer the phone simply by removing the handset from the cradle. You do not have to press any keys to answer the call.

1.Press the MENU soft key.

2.Select the HANDSET SETUP menu, and then the AUTOTALK submenu.

3.Select ON or OFF, and press the OK soft key. You will hear a confirmation tone.

Activating Any Key Answer (Handset Only)

Any Key Answer allows you to answer the phone by pressing any key in the number keypad.

1.Press the MENU soft key.

2.Select the HANDSET SETUP menu, and then the ANY KEY ANSWER submenu.

3.Select ON or OFF, and then press the OK soft key. You will hear a confirmation tone.
