Toll-Saver— lets you avoid unneces- sary long-distance charges when you call by long distance to check your mes- sages.

Phone Pick-Up Detection — stops re- cording when you pick up any phone on the same line as the TAD, and resets to answer the next call.

This TAD has been tested and found to comply with all applicable UL and FCC standards.

Important: Cordless phones such as this one require AC power to operate. When AC power is off, you cannot dial out or receive incoming calls using your TAD-1010. For this reason, the TAD- 1010 should not be your only telephone. To be safe, you should also have a phone that does not require AC power to operate (not a cordless phone) so you can still make and receive calls if there is an AC power failure.

For your records, we recommend you record the TAD’s serial number here. The number is on the base’s label.
