Press the intercom button on the handset. PAGING HANDSET shows in the handset display. The receiving party is paged.

3.When the receiving party answers the page, the intercom is activated.

4.When finished, press the intercom button on the handset or page/int button on the base to deactivate the intercom.

RECEIVING AN INTERCOM CALL

When you receive an intercom call, the handset or base beeps. To answer the intercom call, press the page/int or speaker/callback button on the base or intercom or talk/callback on the handset.

RECEIVING AN EXTERNAL TELEPHONE CALL DURING AN INTERCOM CALL

If you receive a telephone call during an intercom call, the intercom is automatically disconnected so you can answer the call. Press the talk/ callback button on handset or the speaker/callback button on the base to answer the external telephone call.

USING INTERCOM WITH A TELEPHONE CALL

During a telephone call, you can use the intercom/paging function to page the base or the handset and set up a private (2-way) intercom conversation with another user while the telephone call is placed on hold.

Or, you can create a 3-way conference between the telephone caller, the base, and the cordless handset.

TWO-WAY INTERCOM CALLS

1.To make an intercom call press the page/int button (base) or intercom button (cordless handset), depending on where the external call originated.

The external caller is placed on hold and both intercom users may speak privately.

2.To answer the intercom page, press the page/int button (base) or intercom button (cordless handset). When finished press the page/int button or intercom button to retrieve the external caller.
