If your handset is on the base you can answer an incoming call by simply lifting the handset and speaking.

However, you can switch this feature off.

Press the Options button.

Press 0.

Enter the current PIN (original setting = 0000).

Press the Options button.

Press 5.

Press 1 to switch auto answer off or press 0 to switch it on.

Press the Options button to confirm.
