| Step 4: Close IS6110 Software. Try logging into AIM or MSN/WLM on your computer and | ||

| attempt to make a VoIP call. Make sure the speakers and microphone volume are | |
|
| turned up. Make sure the person you are calling has a version of AIM or MSN/WLM | |
|
| with VoIP capability. If you are unable to make a VoIP call through AIM or MSN/WLM, | |
|
| you will not be able to make a VoIP call through the IS6110 phone. | |
| Step 5: | If you are unable to use AIM or MSN/WLM on your computer, it may be due to a firewall | |
|
| software or hardware such as a router. You may need to configure your firewall software | |
|
| or hardware to allow AIM or MSN to go through the ports required by AOL or Microsoft. | |
|
| The settings below are provided by AIM and MSN/WLM to configure the ports and are | |
|
| not a requirement of VTech. If you need assistance in configuring your firewall settings, | |
|
| please contact the software or hardware manufacturer of your firewall or router. | |
