Create directory entries

Press or to move the cursor to the left or right.

Press OFF/CLEAR to backspace and delete characters.

Press and hold OFF/CLEAR on the handset to delete all characters.

Press the Back softkey to return to the previous screen.

Store a pause in a directory number

Use this feature to include a pause in a number stored in the directory. You might need a pause in a directory number to enable access to automated phone systems.

• When you wish to enter a pause in the dialing

 

sequence, press REDIAL/PAUSE to store a three-and-

 

a-half second pause. A P appears in the telephone

REDIAL/PAUSE

number. Each pause counts as one digit. If you want

to save the number in the directory, press MENU/ENTER.
