Answering system operation

Recording & playing memos

Memos are messages you record yourself. They are saved, played back and deleted exactly like incoming messages. You can record a memo as a reminder to yourself, or leave a message for some- one else if other members of your household are using the answering system.

To record a memo

Press RECORD. Elapsed time (in seconds) is shown in the message window as you record. You can record a memo up to four minutes long. Memos less than one second long will not be recorded.

Press PLAY/STOP to stop recording.

To play back a memo

Press PLAY/STOP to hear messages and memos (see page 34 for other options).
