Screen icons

Microphone is muted.

Ringer off.

Low battery (flashing); place handset in telephone base to recharge.

Missed and unreviewed calls.

REMOVE

Handset alert tones

Two short beeps

Double beep every minute when on a call

Four beeps

Five beeps

Confirmation tone

The volume level is at the maximum or minimum setting.

Low battery warning.

Out of range when on the line.

Error tone.

Command completed successfully.

Telephone base tones

One beep every

Message alert.

10 seconds

Press VOL keys while the volume level is already at the maximum or

 

minimum setting.

Indicator lights

IN USE

On steady when the handset is in use.

Flashes quickly while an incoming call is ringing.

CHARGE

The light is on when the cordless handset is properly positioned to charge in the telephone base.
