When using the enhanced keypad micro- phone, enter a valid DTMF digit to move to that location in the list.

7Press the PTT button to send the call.

8Press and hold the PTT button to talk; release to listen.

9When the call is completed,

RECEIVE A CALL ALERT™ PAGE F

When you receive a Call Alert page:

The display shows F and the prepro- grammed name or ID of the calling radio.

The yellow LED indicator flashes, if pro- grammed by your dealer/programmer.

You hear four high-pitched tones.

To acknowledge the page, press and release the PTT button; to cancel the page, press any other key.

SEND A CALL ALERT PAGE

You can alert another person by sending a Call Alert page.

Press the preprogrammed Radio Call button (see page 14) and proceed to step 4.
