INSTALLATION – DESK OR TABLE TOP
Follow these steps to connect your new Answer-		•	A. Introduction
PhoneTM for proper operation. Make sure you		•
have a modular telephone jack and a standard		•
AC electrical outlet near the place you have		•
chosen to install your Answer-PhoneTM.		•

1.	Connect the Coiled Cord	•	B. Installation for Desk or

	handset and plug the other into the handset
	jack. Place the handset in the cradle.	•

2.	Connect the Long Telephone Line Cord	•

	Plug one end of the line cord into the	•
	PHONE LINE plug on the unit. Plug the other	•
	end into the telephone outlet. An RJ11C	•
	outlet jack is required. If you don’t have an

	RJ11C, an adapter can be purchased from
		•
	any telephone store.
