SIP BLA Expires Timer

Release 2.3 now includes a SIP BLA subscription period parameter that allows an Administrator to set the amount of time, in seconds, of the BLA subscription period.

If this parameter is set to zero (0), the phone uses the value specified for the BLA expiration in the subscribe message received from the server. If no value is specified in the Subscribe message received from the server, the phone uses the default value of 300 seconds.

You can configure this parameter using the configuration files or the Aastra Web UI.

Configuring SIP BLA Expirey Timer Using the Configuration Files

Use the following parameters to configure the BLA expirey timer using the configuration files.

Description

Specifies the amount of time, in seconds, that the phone waits to receive a

 

BLA subscribe message from the server. If you specify zero (0), the phone

 

uses the value specified for the BLA expiration in the subscribe message

 

received from the server. If no value is specified, the phone uses the default

 

value of 300 seconds.
