Useful Telephone Settings
LTo cancel a selected handset number, press the number again. The number will stop flashing.
6 Press {>}.
7 Enter the phone number to be restricted (8 digits max.).
LIf you enter a number when a previously stored number is already displayed, the new number will erase the old number.
LTo select a different memory location, press {>} repeatedly and enter a number.

7Select the desired setting by pressing {1} for 700 ms or {2} for 100 ms.

8Press {>}, then press {ih}.

Setting pause length

1Press {j}.

2Press {v} repeatedly to display “SETTING BS”, then press {>}.

3Press {3}.

4Enter “0000” (default base unit PIN).

LIf you changed PIN, enter it (page 22).

5Press {3}.

6Select the desired setting by pressing {1} for 3 seconds or {2} for 5 seconds.

7Press {>}, then press {ih}.

Setting call restriction

You can restrict selected handsets from dialling certain phone numbers. You can assign up to 10 phone numbers (memory locations 1–10) to be restricted per handset. If a restricted number is dialled, the call will not be connected and the restricted number will flash on the display. For example, storing an area code will prevent a handset from dialling a long distance call.

1Press {j}.

2Press {v} repeatedly to display “SETTING BS”, then press {>}.

3Press {6}.

4Enter “0000” (default base unit PIN).

LIf you changed PIN, enter it (page 22).

LAll the registered handset numbers will be displayed.

LFlashing numbers indicate call restriction is turned on for the corresponding handset.

5Press the desired handset numbers.

LThe selected handset numbers will flash.

8Press {>}.

9Press {ih}.

Turning on/off call restriction

1Press {j}.

2Press {v} repeatedly to display “SETTING BS”, then press {>}.

3Press {6}.

4Enter “0000” (default base unit PIN).

LIf you changed PIN, enter it (page 22).

LHandset numbers will be displayed. Flashing numbers indicate call restriction is on; non-flashing numbers indicate call restriction is off.

5Press the desired handset numbers to turn on/off.

6Press {>}, then press {ih}.
