Multi-unit Operation

Setting all or selected handsets to ring

You can select one of 3 methods to determine how the handsets ring for incoming calls.

1”: All handsets will ring.

2”: Selected handset(s) will ring.

3”: Selected handset(s) will ring, then all handsets will ring.

Setting all handsets to ring

1Press {j}.

2Press {v} repeatedly to display “SETTING BS”, then press {>}.

3Press {1}.

4Enter “0000” (default base unit PIN).

LIf you changed PIN, enter it (page 22).

5Press {1} to select “1”.

6Press {>}, then press {ih}.

Setting the selected handset(s) to ring

1Press {j}.

2Press {v} repeatedly to display “SETTING BS”, then press {>}.

3Press {1}.

4Enter “0000” (default base unit PIN).

LIf you changed PIN, enter it (page 22).

5Press {2} to select “2”.

LAll registered handset numbers will be displayed and the pre-selected handset number will flash.

6Press the desired handset number(s).

LThe selected handset number(s) will flash.

LTo cancel a selected handset number, press the number again. The number will stop flashing.

7Press {>}, then press {ih}.

Setting the selected handset(s) to ring before all handsets ring

1Press {j}.

2Press {v} repeatedly to display “SETTING BS”, then press {>}.

3Press {1}.

4Enter “0000” (default base unit PIN).

LIf you changed PIN, enter it (page 22).

5Press {3} to select “3”.

LAll registered handset numbers will be displayed and the pre-selected handset number will flash.

6Press the desired handset number(s).

LThe selected handset number(s) will flash.

LTo cancel a selected handset number, press the number again. The number will stop flashing.

7Press {>}.

8Press a dial key from {1} to {6} to select the number of rings before all handsets ring.

LThe selected number of rings will be shown on the right edge of the display.

9Press {>}, then press {ih}.
