How to Use the Pause Button

(For Analogue PBX Line/Long Distance Service Users)

We recommend you press (Redial/Pause) if a pause is required for dialling with a PBX or to access a long distance service.

Ex: Line access number 9 (PBX)

9 (Redial/Pause) Phone number

Pressing (Redial/Pause) once creates a pause.

This prevents misdialling when you redial or dial a stored number.

Pressing (Redial/Pause) more than once increases the length of the pause between numbers.

Setting the pause timing

You can select the pause timing, 3 seconds or 5 seconds, according to your PBX requirements. The factory preset is 1 (3 seconds).

1.Press (Program), then INT (Intercom).

2.Press 3 .

3.Enter the base unit password (p. 35).

4.Press 3 .

The current pause timing is displayed.

5.To select 5 seconds, press 2 .

OR

To select 3 seconds, press 1 .

The setting is displayed.

6.When finished, press (Program).
