Enter the current handset password.

Setting the Password

On the handset

You can program the password according to your needs. The factory preset is 0000. Changing the password may prevent the unauthorized use of your unit by another person.

You need to enter this password when using the following features.

Setting the Call Prohibition (p. 36)

Clearing the Settings in Handset Memory (p. 45)

Cancelling a Base Unit (p. 51)

Once you have programmed the password, you cannot confirm it.

We recommend you write down the password. If you forget it, please consult with your nearest Panasonic Service Center.

4 Enter the new password using a 4 digit number twice.

If you misdial, press (Cancel) and enter the number twice again.

A confirmation tone sounds.
