Settings

You can determine which type of local BT exchange you are connected to using the following procedure.

1.Ensure that the dialling mode is selected to TONE.

2.Press (Talk), then identify the dial tone.

3.Dial a number you are familiar with.

4.If the call is successful, you are connected to a tone exchange. Therefore, leave the dialling mode as TONE.

5.If the call is not successful, you are connected to a pulse exchange. Therefore, set the dialling mode to PULSE.
