Accessing the Base Unit

Automatic base unit access

The handset automatically selects a registered base unit.

When the handset moves to another base unit radio area, it loses contact with the previous base unit and automatically accesses the new base unit radio area.

If the handset is in the overlap area between several base unit radio areas, the handset will access the base unit in the order of the base unit numbers.

Specified base unit access

You can only select one of the registered base units (1 to 4).

The factory preset is 0 (automatic base unit access). To change the mode, program as follows.

Multi-Unit User

1 Press (Program).

2 Press 1 .

The current registered base unit number(s) is/are displayed.

The current accessed base unit number is flashes.

Specified base unit access

(The registered base unit number): 1 to 4

Automatic base unit access: 0

Ex. "Automatic base unit access" is selected.
