Special Features

Setting the Key Lock

You can lock the handset dialling buttons. Incoming calls can be answered, but outgoing calls can not be dialled until the key lock is cancelled.

When the unit is in the stand-by mode, press and

hold (Program) for about 2 seconds.

" " is displayed.

A confirmation tone sounds.

If you press (Talk) to answer a call, all of the dialling buttons will unlock

and " " goes out. When you press (Talk) to hang up, the buttons

will lock and " " will be displayed again.

Cancelling the key lock

Press and hold (Program) again for about 2 seconds.

" " goes out.

The key lock will be also cancelled when the power is turned OFF (p. 16).

Handset Locator

From the base unit you can locate the handset or page a person at the handset with ring tones.

Press (Page).

The in use indicator ( ) flashes.

The handset rings for 1 minute and " " flashes.

The base unit number is displayed as [0] while paging.

Ex. Handset 1 is paged.
