Transferring a call without an intercom

This feature enables you to transfer the call to another handset without waiting for the handset to answer the page. (Ex. Handset 1 is transferring a call to Handset 2.)

Handset 1:

 

1 During a call, press INT (Intercom), then press the desired handset

number using the dialling buttons. Press

(Talk) to transfer the call.

•The call is put on hold.

Handset 2:

 

2 When the unit rings, press

(Talk) to answer the call.

•The transfer is completed.

•If the paged handset does not answer within 30 seconds, a ring tone sounds at

the paging handset. The paging handset can return to the call by pressing

(Talk).

Conference

During a conversation with the handset, you can make an intercom call to another handset and then combine the calls together to establish a conference call.

1 Handset 1:

During a call, press INT (Intercom). Then press the desired handset number using the dialling buttons.

• The call is put on hold.

 

• If there is no answer, press

INT (Intercom) to return to the call.

Handset 2:

 

2 When the unit rings, press

(Talk) to answer the page.

Handset 1:

 

3 Press

3 to establish a conference call.

Handset 1 or 2:

 

4 Press

(Talk) to end the conference call.
