Finding Items in the Directory

You can search the directory using the handset.

Make sure the unit is in the standby mode initially.

Press Ö or Ñ to enter the

directory list.

The first item is displayed.

desired item is displayed.

All directory items are stored in the order shown on the right.

To search for a name by initial

#Press the dialling button for the first letter of the desired name until any name with the same initial is displayed (see the Index table on page 42).

Ex. To find “Frank”, press (3) repeatedly until the first item under “F” is displayed.

$Press Ö repeatedly until the name is displayed.

Press Ö.

Advanced Operation

You can leave the directory list any time by pressing (EXIT/CH).
