Answering an Intercom Page

When the intercom page tone sounds, the display shows the ID of the sta-

tion that is paging.

From the handset, press [ /flash] or [xfer/intercom]. If AutoTalk is on, the handset automatically answers the page when you remove the hand-

set from the cradle. From the DCT7565 base, press [int’com/xfer], or [speaker].

To hang up an intercom page from the handset, press [ ]. To hang up an intercom page from the DCT7565 base, press [int’com/xfer].

Room/Baby Monitor

This feature allows you to monitor sounds in another room. Place a hand- set (or the DCT7565 base) in the room you wish to monitor; it will func- tion as a microphone. Another station can be set to function as a remote speaker, allowing you to monitor sounds in the room.

1.Press [menu/clear] and enter the ROOM MONITOR menu. TO ROOM MONITOR appears.

2.Select the station you want to monitor by using [] or [].

3.Press . ROOM MONITOR appears, and you hear sounds in the room where the station is installed.

4.To turn off the Room Monitor, press [ ] or return

the handset to the cradle.
