33:22

To keep just this section (cropping it), you will:

locate this file from the Browser mode

Select Edit from the File menu in order to enter the edit mode

In the edit mode, set the cut-IN point (12:15 in our example)

Next, set the cut-OUT point (21:05 in our example)

Save the edit

Highlight the file to edit and select Edit from the file menu. Only files which have been created with the AV400 recording function will show Edit in the file menu. Files created from CDs or downloaded cannot be edited. Once you enter the edit mode, the audio file will play in a continuous loop so that you will be able to hear how your edit sounds.

Use the fast-reverse and fast-forward buttons (LEFT/RIGHT buttons) to locate the points you want the new file to start and end. These are the cut-IN and cut-OUT points. Once you have set these points, you can save the edit. In this example, a new file VOICE_01_Edit. mp3 will be made. Your original file is left untouched. You will notice that your Cut-IN and Cut-OUT times are marked just above the file name.
