MAINTENANCE

CARBURETOR

The function of the carburetor is to mix fuel with air. Adjustments other than Idle speed should be made by a servicing dealer.

Before adjusting the engine idle speed, make sure the air filter is clean and the engine is warmed up.

T – Idle Screw is adjusted so that the engine idles smoothly but the clutch does not engage.

If cut-off saw has been running satisfactorily and there is a gradual decrease in power and drop in RPM at full throttle, the filter may have become dirty or saturated with water. .
