NOTICE

The following section was designed to give instructions on the basic operations of this machine. However, it is in no way com- prehensive of all of the machine’s applica- tions. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you read books, trade magazines, or get formal training to maximize the potential of your machine.

Safe Operation

Your safety is important. The bullets below are intended to supplement Section 2: Safety. But remember, no safety list can be comprehensive of every situation. The operator is ultimately responsible for their own safety, as well as the safety of bystanders. Every cutting operation is uniquely different and may require safety equip- ment or safety procedures not mentioned in this manual.

Please follow these tips EVERY time the saw is operated:

Stand to the right of the blade line-of-cut when performing a cutting operation.

Turn the saw OFF and allow the blade to come to a complete stop before making any adjustments.

Make sure the blade guard is installed and that it raises and drops as the workpiece enters and leaves the cutting operation.

Carefully plan each cutting operation to avoid injuries.
