Mains accessibility
WARNING: The mains socket outlet must be installed near the equipment and must be easily accessible.
Exposed Mains.
WARNING: When the Power Supply Modules are removed from the Card Cage, the connector on the back plane will contain mains voltage. Do not insert anything other than a Power Supply Module into the exposed aperture of the Card Cage System.
Earth point.
WARNING: The central earth point for the Card Cage System is located on the right hand panel of the Card Cage (when viewed from the front) This stud is marked with an earth symbol and should on no account be tampered with.
Fuse Operation.
WARNING: Failure of one mains fuse will not necessarily remove mains power totally.
Fuse.
WARNING: Only to be replaced with a 5 x20mm 1.0A
Mains Isolation
WARNING: To isolate unit form mains supply BOTH IEC sockets must be disconnected.
