NOTE: Above electric heaters are not UL (Underwriters’ Laboratories) or CSA (Canadian Standards Association) listed for use with optional high-static evaporator-fan motor (048, 060 units only).

Controls

Operating sequence

Cooling — Thermostat calls for cooling. Indoor (evapora- tor) fan relay is energized and starts evaporator fan. Com- pressor contactor is energized to start compressor and condenser fan (up to a 5-minute delay on single-phase units). When room thermostat is satisfied, the evaporator fan, compressor, and condenser fan shut off.

Continuous fan operation — The thermostat can be set for continuous operation by setting the fan switch to ON.
