YStop engine and let cool.

Engine speed is factory set and should not require adjustment. Af- ter tuning engine, check engine speed with tachometer or frequen- cy meter. See table for proper no load speed. If necessary, adjust speed as follows:

Start engine and run until warm.

Place Process/Arc Drive (Dig) Control in Stick position.

1Lock Nut

2Adjustment Screw

Loosen nut. Turn screw until engine runs at weld/power speed. Tighten nut.

.Do not set engine speed higher than specified.

3 Engine Stop Lever

Use lever to stop engine if Engine Control switch does not work.

YStop engine. Close door.
