Step 2 Plug the adapter cord into the router.

Verifying Connections

To verify that all devices are properly connected to the router, first turn on all the connected devices, then check the LEDs. To verify router operation, refer to Table 3-1.

Power and Link		LEDs to Check	Normal Patterns
SYS		Yellow	FPGA download is complete.
		Green (blinking)	ROMMON is operational.
		Off	After powering up, when FPGA is being downloaded (in
			ROMMON).
ACT		Green	Network activity on FE Switch ports, GE WAN port, 3G
			cellular interface, and serial interfaces.
		Off	No network activity.
