VOTRE BOUILLOIRE N’A PAS DE DOMMAGE APPARENT
•La bouilloire ne fonctionne pas, ou s’arrête avant ébullition
-Vérifiez que votre bouilloire a bien été branchée.
-La bouilloire a fonctionné sans eau, ou du tartre s’est accumulé, provoquant le déclenchement du système de sécurité contre le fonctionnement à sec : laissez refroidir la bouilloire, remplissez d’eau.
Mettez en marche à l’aide de l’interrupteur : la bouilloire recommence à fonctionner après environ 15 minutes.
• L’eau a un goût de plastique :
Généralement, ceci se produit lorsque la bouilloire est neuve, jetez l’eau des premières utilisations. Si le problème persiste, remplissez la bouilloire au maximum, ajoutez deux cuillères à café de bicarbonate de soude. Faites bouillir et jetez l’eau. Rincez la bouilloire.

Prévention des accidents domestiques
Pour un enfant, une brûlure même légère peut parfois être grave.
Au fur et à mesure qu’ils grandissent, apprenez à vos enfants à faire attention aux liquides chauds pouvant se trouver dans une cuisine. Placez bouilloire et cordon bien à l’arrière du plan de travail, hors de portée des enfants. Si un accident se produit, passez de l’eau froide immédiatement sur la brûlure et appelez un médecin si nécessaire.
•Afin d’éviter tout accident : ne portez pas votre enfant ou bébé lorsque vous buvez ou transportez une boisson chaude.

-This product has been designed for domestic use only. Any commercial use, inappropriate use or failure to comply with the instructions, the manufacturer accepts no responsibility and the guarantee will not apply.
-Only use your kettle for boiling drinking water.
-Only plug the appliance into an earthed mains socket, or into an electrical extension lead with an integrated earth connection. Check that the voltage indicated on the rating plate of the appliance corresponds to that of the mains voltage. You are advised not to use a multiple adapter plug.
-Do not use the kettle when you have wet hands or bare feet
-Take care not to place the kettle and its base on a hot surface, such as a hot plate, or to use it near a naked flame.
-Immediately remove the mains plug if you notice that the kettle is not operating correctly.
-Do not pull on the power cord to remove the mains plug.
-Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or work surface in order to prevent the appliance from falling.
-Always remain vigilant when the appliance is on, and in particular be careful of the steam coming out of the spout, which is very hot.
-Also be careful as the body of stainless steel kettles becomes very hot during operation. Only touch the handle of the kettle.
-Never touch the filter or the lid when the water is boiling
-Never move the kettle when it is in operation.
-Our guarantee does not cover kettles that do not work properly or do not work at all because they have not been descaled.
-Protect the appliance from damp and frost.
-If your appliance has been damaged, if it is not working properly, we recommend that you have the appliance inspected. Any intervention to the appliance other than cleaning and
descaling according to the instructions for use must be performed by an authorised Tefal service centre.
-Unplug the appliance as soon as you have finished using it for a long period of time and when you clean it.
-All appliances are subject to strict quality control procedures. These include actual usage tests on randomly selected appliances, which would explain any traces of use.
-This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
-Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

-Do not use the kettle if the power cord or the plug is damaged. To avoid any danger, they must be replaced by an authorised TEFAL service centre.
-The guarantee only covers manufacturing defects and domestic use. No breakages or damage resulting from failure to follow the instructions are covered by the guarantee.
