1.Turn OFF your computer.

NOTE: To save space on your desk, tip the HP Colorado tape drive up on its side.

NOTE: This tape drive can be used with laptops, desktops, and towers that meet minimum system requirements listed on page 35. The following illustrations show it attached to a laptop computer.

2.Connect one end of the power cord into the power supply and the other end to a wall outlet or power strip. (The power plug and outlet may look different in your country.)
