1In the Director, click SETTINGS, and then choose Fax Settings.

The Fax Settings dialog box appears, with the Reporting tab visible.

2Click the Answering tab.

3In the Phone answering area, select Automatic.

4In the Automatic Answering area, enter the Number of Rings to Answer.

5If you are using the distinctive ring feature, select a distinctive ring from the Answer this Distinctive Ring Pattern list.
