•This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.

•For appliances fitted with a removable power cord: if the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cable or unit available from the manufacturer or its after-sales service.

•Position the power cord carefully, whether an extension is used or not, so that guests can move freely around the table without tripping over it.

•If an extension cord is used, it must be with an incorporated earth connection.

•When filling the fondue pot, it is important to respect the minimum and maximum levels indicated inside the fondue pot.

Important tips when cooking FONDUE WITH OIL

•Always use fresh oil.	• Do not use oil flavoured with other ingredients
• Do not mix different types of oils.	(e.g. herbs).
• Never add water to oil or other fat.	• Do not use grape seed oil.

•Only use the fondue pot supplied with the appliance or purchased from an approved service centre.

•On first use, there may be a slight odour and a little smoke during the first few minutes.

•Drain and remove excess water on the food before cooking. Dry food using kitchen paper towel before cooking.

•If using frozen food, check it is completely de-frosted before use.

•Cook according to the instructions in the recipe or to the desired doneness level.

•To preserve the non-stick coating of the fondue pot, use a plastic or wooden utensils when preparing the recipe.
