Reading the System Status Lights
System Status lights show the status of computer functions. The lights appear on the left edge of the computer (Figure 9).

| Power light: Light is green when the computer’s power is on. Light |
| blinks when the computer is in Power On Suspend mode. (See ”Rest |
| Mode” on page 64 for more information on Power On Suspend |
| mode.) |
| Num Lock light: Light is on when the embedded numeric keypad is |
| activated. See ”Using the Embeded Numeric Keypad” on page 13 for |
| a description of the keypad. |
| Caps Lock light: Light is on when the caps lock function is activated. |
| When the function is activated, all alphabetic characters you type will |
| be in upper case. |
