Los modelos de las series HHT-080 y HHT-100 de Honeywell están dotados de filtros permanentes tipo HEPA. Utilizados normalmente, no necesitan sustituirse jamás.

Para limpiar los filtros tipo HEPA :

•NO USE AGUA NI NINGÚN OTRO LÍQUIDO PARA LIMPIAR LOS FILTROS HEPA.

•Para limpiar el filtro con el aspirador, sujete el filtro y aspírelo sirvíendose de la punta cilíndrica o del cepillo del aspirador para liberarlo del polvo y demás partículas.(Fig. 7). Limpie toda la superficie del filtro tipo HEPA.

•Nota : Quizás no vuelva a obtener el color inicial del filtro incluso después de limpiarlo, pero eso no afecta su eficacia.

• Después de limpiar el filtro con el aspirador, vuelva a colocarlo en el aparato y encaje la rejilla.

MANTENIMIENTO DEL PRE-FILTRO DE PARTÍCULAS LAVABLE – ETAPA 1

El pre-filtro de partículas – Etapa 1 detiene las partículas más gruesas suspendidas en el aire que entran por la rejilla posterior. Remueva el

pre-filtro periódicamente y sacúdalo para limpiarlo. Alternadamente, enjuáguelo a mano con agua tibia (Fig. 8). Deje que el pre-filtro se seque al aire completamente antes de volver a colocarlo. Si necesita remplazar este ítem, sírvase consultar la sección Relaciones con el Consumidor en la siguiente página.

LIMPIEZA Y ALMACENAMIENTO

Recomendamos que limpie su purificador de aire por lo menos una vez al mes y cuando vaya a almacenarlo por un largo tiempo. Utilice solamente un lienzo seco para limpiar la superficie exterior

del purificador de aire. NO USE AGUA, CERA NI PRODUCTOS QUÍMICOS.

Si su purificador de aire no va a ser utilizado por más de 30 días, recomendamos lo siguiente:

•Retire lors filtros tipo HEPA del aparato.

•Meta los filtros tipo HEPA en una bolsa de plástico y ciérrela bien.
