REMOVING THE COMPRESSOR

CAPACITOR AND THE BUCKET SWITCH

Electrical Shock Hazard Disconnect power before servicing.

Replace all parts and panels before operating.

Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock.

1.Unplug dehumidifier or disconnect power.

2.Remove the cabinet from the dehumidi- fier (see page 3-2 for the procedure).

3.To remove the compressor capacitor:

a)IMPORTANT: Discharge the capacitor by touching the leads of a 20,000 ohm resistor to the capacitor terminals.

b)Disconnect the three wires (electronic control models), or four wires (me- chanical models) from the capacitor terminals.

c)Remove the screw from the capacitor.
