Operating and Maintaining the P80 Console

TV Settings

TV Settings help you set up television channels for your users.

The TV Settings are:

yChannel Guide

yRegion

yDefault Channel

ySkip Unnamed Channels

To view TV Setting information:

1.Use the administrator code and password to view the equipment settings.

2.Touch System Settings.

3.Touch Display, then touch Channel Guide.

Channel Guide

You can set up the channels in either or both of the following ways:

yScan for available channels.

yAdd channels manually.

The following procedures discuss how to set up the channel guide and how to configure audio and video playback.

To scan for available channels:

1.Touch System Settings.

2.On the System Settings menu, touch Display, then touch TV Settings.

3.Touch Channel Guide, then touch Scan Channel.

The console scans available channels, and all available channels display on the screen.

To add a channel in the Channel Guide:

1.On the Channel Guide screen, touch Add Channel.

2.On the Add Channel screen, select the number of the new channel.

3.Type the name of the new channel in the Channel Name box.

4.Touch OK as needed to return to the desired screen.
