M. Optional Blower

KIT CONTENTS: Blower; speed control; lock nut; control knob; ground clip; temperature sensor switch; wing nut; 2 high-temp black wires; 1 high-temp blue wire.

TOOLS REQUIRED: Philips head screwdriver; 1/2 in. wrench.

The GFK-160A blower has been designed to circulate room air through the appliance to enhance heat output.

The blower system operates on 120 VAC, 60 Hz power. This is available through a receptacle in the factory installed junction box on the underside of the appliance.

Figure 8.27 From the rear of the appliance, slide the blower into the blower housing with the magnetic strips down. The blower openings should be at the front.

Plug blower power cord into fan outlet on junction box.

Figure 8.28 Attach grounding clip supplied with the kit to the blower housing. Attach ground wire to grounding clip.

Figure 8.29 Slide temperature sensor switch/bracket assembly onto the 10-32 screw located on the left underside of the appliance. Secure the bracket assembly with the wing nut provided.

Disconnect the two wire ends connected together on the junction box. Connect female end to one side of temperature sensor switch.

Connect one end of the black wire provided with the kit to the remaining wire end on junction box.

Feed loose ends of the black and blue wires through the orange grommet in fan housing.
