play with the opener. Keep remote control in a location inaccessible to children.

3.Operate opener only when the door is in full view and free from any obstruction. Keep the

door in sight until it is completely closed. NO

4.Check safety reversal system monthly. See page 30. The garage door MUST reverse on contact with a one-inch (or a 2x4 board laid fiat) object placed on the floor, if an adjustment is made to either the force or the limit of travel, both adjustments may be needed and the safety reversal system must be checked. Failure to properly adjust the opener may result in severe injury or death.

Maintenance

Once a Month

Manually operate door. If it is unbalanced or binding, call for professional garage door service.

Check to be sure door opens & closes fully. Adjust limits and/or force if necessary.

Repeat the safety reverse test. Make any necessary adjustments (See page 30).

Twice a Year

Check chain tension. Disconnect trolley first. Adjust if necessary (See page 11).

Oil door rollers, bearings and hinges. The opener does not require additional lubrication. Do not grease the door tracks.
