Setting Spool Pins

(_ Spool pin

The spool pins are used for holding the spools of thread when feeding the thread to the machine.

To use, pull up the spool pins. Push down for storage.

Presser Foot Lifter

(_ Presser foot lifter (_ Normal up position (_) Highest position

The presser foot lifter raises and lowers the pr@sse_foot. You can raise it about 1/4" (0.6 cm)
