Troubleshooting

Icannot register the headset.

For registration to a cordless telephone:

•You must be using a compatible AT&T DECT 6.0 cordless telephone. Visit

www.telephones.att.com for a list of compatible telephones.

•Your cordless telephone has a maximum number of handsets that may be registered to the telephone base. In terms of registration, the telephone base treats a headset like a handset. Check the Adding and registering handsets section of the telephone user’s manual for the maximum number of handsets allowed. If the maximum number of handsets are already registered, you need to follow the de- registration instructions in the telephone user’s manual then re-register the handsets and/or headsets you wish to use.

For registration to a headset base:

•You can register a maximum of two headsets and one dial pad to the headset base. If you already have two headset(s) and one dial pad registered to the headset base, then you must de-register all the headset(s) and dial pad before you register a different headset.

•If you registered the expansion headset to a headset base, see the user’s manual for your headset base model TL7610/TL7611/TL7650/TL7651
