Option Selections

You can customize your cycles by pressing an option. If you change your mind, press the option again to turn the option off. Select a different option if desired.

You can change an option anytime before the selected option begins. For example, you can press an unheated drying option any time before drying begins.

Press Start to repeat the same cycle and options as the previous wash cycle.

NOTE: If the last cycle you completed was a rinse cycle, when you press Start, the dishwasher runs the last full wash cycle and options.

Hi-Temp Scrub

Select this option to heat the water during parts of the cycle, and add a rinse. Higher water temperatures and an extra rinse helps clean tough soils. Hi-Temp Scrub, with the Baked On Cookware cycle, raises the water temperature in the prewash and main wash. Hi-Temp Scrub, with the Normal cycle, raises the water temperature in the main wash.

This option adds heat, water and wash time to a cycle.

NOTE: Hi-Temp Scrub is an option with the Baked On Cookware and Normal cycles. Always use Hi-Temp Scrub if you have hard water.

SANI RINSE™ Option

Select this option to raise the water temperature in the final rinse to approximately 160°F (70°C). The SANI RINSE™ Option adds heat and time to the cycle. This high temperature rinse sanitizes your dishes and glassware in accordance with NSF/ANSI Standard 184 for Residential Dishwashers. Certified residential dishwashers are not intended for licensed food establishments.

NOTE: Baked On Cookware automatically uses this option. SANI RINSE™ is an option with the Normal cycle. Only these sanitization cycles have been designed to meet the NSF/ANSI requirements.

One of the most notable features of the KitchenAid KUDS01IL is its robust cleaning performance, thanks to its ProWash Cycle. This intelligent technology automatically adjusts the wash settings based on the soil level of the dishes, ensuring that every load receives the precise cleaning power required. Whether tackling heavily soiled pots or lightly used glassware, users can expect sparkling clean results every time.

The KUDS01IL is equipped with a durable stainless steel interior, which not only enhances its longevity but also improves drying performance. The stainless steel helps to maintain high temperatures during cycles, enabling better sanitization while reducing the chances of the dishes developing unpleasant odors. A noteworthy characteristic of this model is its Quiet Wash sound insulation system, which minimizes noise levels during operation. With noise ratings as low as 47 decibels, it allows for a peaceful kitchen environment, making it easier to entertain guests or spend quality time with family.

Another significant technology featured in the KUDS01IL is the Clean Water Wash System. This innovative design continuously filters and recycles wash water, ensuring that only the cleanest water is used during the cleaning process. By preventing food particles from redepositing onto dishes, this system elevates the overall cleaning effectiveness.

The KitchenAid KUDS01IL also offers a flexible loading design, featuring a top rack with adjustable tines and a spacious bottom rack that accommodates larger items like pots and pans. The removable silverware basket adds convenience, making it easier to organize utensils for a thorough clean.

Energy efficiency is another hallmark of the KUDS01IL, as it is ENERGY STARĀ® certified. This not only helps in reducing household energy costs but also reflects a commitment to environmentally responsible practices.
