MILK CARAFE
This chapter explains how to use a milk carafe to prepare a cappuccino, latte macchiato or hot milk.
Note:
Before using the milk carafe, clean it thoroughly as described in the chap- ter “Cleaning and Maintenance” chapter.
We recommend to fill it with cold milk (approx. 5°C). After use, put the cara- fe back in the refrigerator. DO NOT leave the milk out of the refrigerator for more than 15 minutes.
Warning:
Do not pour any other liquid than water for cleaning or milk into the carafe.
Filling the milk carafe
The milk carafe needs be filled before use.
1 Open the milk carafe dispenser by turning it clockwise until it locks into place.
2 Press the release buttons and lift the lid.
3Pour the milk into the milk carafe: the milk level must be between the minimum (MIN) and maximum (MAX) level indicator shown on the milk carafe.
