Uso de la cafetera KitchenAid®

Elaboración del café

NOTA: Ponga a elaborar una jarra de agua fresca en la cafetera y deséchela antes de elaborar la primera jarra de café (sólo para el primer uso).

1.Saque el tanque de agua y llénelo con agua fresca suficiente como para hacer la cantidad de café deseada. Una escala graduada en el tanque mide la cantidad de agua necesaria. Cuando vuelva a colocar el tanque, cerciórese de alinearlo con la(s) lengüeta(s).

NOTA: El tanque puede llenarse sin quitarlo de la cafetera, usando la jarra.

El lado derecho de la escala (“coffee” - café) es una medida del volumen de café. El lado izquierdo de la escala (“water” - agua) está basado en tazas de 140 ml.

2.Después de llenar el tanque de agua, coloque la jarra en la cafetera.

IMPORTANTE: Cerciórese de que la tapa esté segura en su lugar (para los modelos con jarra térmica, consulte “Cómo colocar la tapa sobre la jarra térmica”) y que la base de la jarra esté asentada por completo. Si la jarra no está asentada, la característica de Pausa y servir puede no activarse y hacer que se derramen el agua y el café de la canasta de elaboración.

Para un café bien caliente, se recomienda llenar la jarra con agua caliente y vaciarla, para calentarla previamente.

3.Abra la puerta de elaboración de café. La canasta de elaboración puede sacarse, pero puede llenarse desde la parte frontal de la cafetera sin tener que quitarla.

4.Inserte un filtro de papel de base plana para 12 a 14 tazas o el filtro permanente de tono dorado dentro de la canasta de elaboración.

IMPORTANTE: No use ambos tipos de filtros a la vez. Si usa ambos filtros, podría derramarse el agua y el café de la canasta de elaboración.
