The water softener also needs salt for regeneration. Always add a proper amount of salt into the water softener. Give the user sufficient instructions to add salt periodically.

Replace the cartridge filter when the pressure gauge readings on the primary side of the water softener and on the secondary side of the cartridge filter differ by 0.1MPa (1.0kgf/cm2) or more.
