1. Unit Will Not Start

Unit will not start

Problem

Possible Cause

Off, blown fuse, or tripped or defective circuit breaker.

Loose connection.

Not within specifications.

“OFF” position.

Bad contacts.

“OFF” position.

Water failure.

Shut off valve closed.

Strainer clogged.

Not fully closed.

Out of adjustment and/or open.

Remedy

Turn on, replace, or check and reset. Call electrician if breaker trips repeatedly.

Tighten.

Refer to nameplate and correct.

Move to “ON” position.

Check for continuity and replace.

Move to “ON” position.

Wait for recovery.

Wait for recovery.

Open.

Clean.

Close.

Adjust and/or replace.
